Contrary to what you guys might believe, I have not actually experienced this problem myself. I literally just toss my lights into an old Rock Band box but they still come out good to go. I just put my decorations up this week finally. They look good. I've got a better shaped apartment for decorations this year. Expect many of December's comics to have a Christmas theme, although there are only 5 more update days before Christmas. Also, if you're looking for a Christmas gift for the ARL fan in your life, give the gift of an insanely expensive ARL Treasury.
